As I write in multiple drafts this didn't end up in the WARLANDS digest rules with the Battle Box (my mistake), but obviously vehicles are harder (or easier) to control due to the speed they are traveling. As I'm going through the upcoming rulebook I thought I'd post this.

Vehicles required to take a Control Test should consult the following table to determine the Target Number needed,
• When making special vehicle maneuvers.
• Vehicle is within the area effect of an explosion.

Control Test Target Number Table
Speed Target Number
Slow 8
Cruising 10
Fast 12

Thanks.

I assume:
1) these target numbers replace the "standard" target number of 10 mentioned on page 8 of the drivers manual.
2) The situation where the vehilcle is in the area effect of an explosion is in addition to the list of situations that trigger a control test mentioned on page 8 of the drivers manual.

When multiple situations occur at the same moment you make a one control test.

1) Yes
2) Vehicles that are with 25% or more of a template weapon need to make a control test. You're right that's not in there either!

So bullet point 3 on page 9 "A Vehicle is under a blast template and at least 25% covered has to roll on the OOC table" is obsolete, right?
Itīs no longer a direct roll on the OOC Table. Now itīs a control test and only if I fail it I have to roll on the OOC table.
Did I get that right?

Since 180, Bootlegger and Emergency Braking have special TNs written in their rules (180° = Base TN16, Bootlegger Base TN 14 or 16, Braking TN10 or 12) do the TN 8/10/12 according to speed only apply on all other special maneuvers? Thatīll be ramming, Nudging, Drifting?

They're making some more precise sets for the full rules, so you can expect a few more added ideas as time comes closer for the full rules.

I'd expect the control test targets would all vary by speed, but haven't heard the final word, yet. It should come down, soon.

Correct

Here is the more up to date one this should answer the other questions

Control Test Target Number Table
Speed Target Number
Slow 8/-2
Cruising 10/0
Fast 12/+2
If Target Number is higher than standard add or subtract as appropriate.
