I'm building kits since the age of 5, discovered Wargaming in 1980 (age 15) Started with 1/72 ww2 WRG rules using airfix and matchbox figures, then moved to napoleonics, Dungeons and Dragons both as a player and as game master, Games Workshops Starfarer, Rogue trader (WH40K) Warhammer, 15mm huns, Car Wars, Dark Future, more role playing, Squad leader, and al ot of other board wargames.

Saw my 1st Mad Max movies during a SF movie marathon night.. never recovered.

Served in the army as conscript waiting for the ruskies to come. I attained the rank of Sergeant. squad leader(section commander) in a light infantry cy. Spent most of my army nights in dark forests pretending to hide and protect he "ultra high" explosives from special forces pretending to be spetznaz. Declined an offer to serve a bit longer as an instructor and instead left to become a "melter/blaster" producing molten steel form molten iron in a blast furnace . that's why my necromunda gang is named "Slag Panthers".

Somewhere in my career I became involved in managing railroad maintenance, got married (to a female gamer, yes they do exist),I have two daughters and I'm currently employed as a maintenance engineer for a major railroad maintenance firm in the Netherlands.

Besides wargaming I love to ride my BMW R1200GS that I use every day every time every season. Te only thing that stops the unstoppable is ice..
