I know it's probably obvious, but for the first time in years, I caught Big Trouble in Little China on the TV the other night, and as soon as I saw the 3 storms I couldn't help but think of an APAC Arashi, it's the hat.
I may have to 'name' one of my CSO Jack Burton, and get a Pork Chop express model

I had an idea to do something inspired by that, I was going to call it Big Trouble in Neo-China. The APAC faction would have 3 Arashi's lead by an advanced Arashi or ESPer (boosted up with some upgrades from Outbreak), and a bunch of Enforcers. Attempting to thwart them would a Ronin crew lead by a Inter-Continental
Truck Driverwho used to be a Maven. Joining him would be a host of ronin, most of whom would be Fists.
I've got a number of the old China Town models I wanted to use for extra Fists, Arashi and Shootists for this.

It would make a good DD article.
Nice to know I'm not the only one who's brain went on that tangent.

I've thought about it off and on for a while.
The Arashi for the Storms
Espers for the sorcerors (Emperor and Egg, though The Cardinal would work well for the Emperor, and Jaz Beckett would work for Egg)
Maven for Jack (though a Fiddler might fit his abilities better)
Enforcers for both sides (funeral shootout)
Fists for both sides (any fight)
Bishoujo Senshi (female guards)
Scientists (for all the prisoners)
Ninja for either side (some of the fighters, and simply for variety)
Panther Securibot for the hairy beast (Iron Man without weapons would work, as would a Volkoda. Dragon's Breath would be the shock of fear)
WorldWorks has a flatbed truck in their Bits of Mayhem set for the Porkchop Express. Not quite an eighteen wheeler, but close enough for scenario work.

Jaz Becket is a Named Esper appearing in the fluff and with full stats in Outbreak. She's got some pretty impressive abilities. Buy the book and read all about her today!

That film was one of the reasons I liked the now dead (but great fun) Game China Town!
I had rules for Jack Burton in that, and guess what - I have written rules for Jack in Rezolution!
FANTASTIC Film!

I'm halfway through writing up Jack (the points for everything should be right, as everyone is based upon an existing Models stat card), and have started roughing out David Lo Pan, Egg Shen, Thunder, Rain, and Lighting (whilst listening to the Big Trouble OST).
