The Vatacina Purifier hit distribution in July. The Ronin Brawler is in distribution now and the Vatacina Pistol Fencer will be available thru distribution shortly. All three are listed as new items in the latest Data Dump (#5) which was just released online yesterday. So, in all fairness... that's 4 new releases in about 6 weeks...

In addition to Rezolution, we're all busy working on Warlands and prepping it for a November release plus Data Dump #6 is well-underway.

What is it you're looking for?

I was looking for Ravagers and the faction that the Dravani recognize....plus there was some other stuff that Simon had talked about with me that I am not at liberty to go into here.

The Dravani Reavers are still coming down the pipe. The Dravani received some serious love earlier in the year with the release of Grimalkin and Lilith plus many of the SKU for the Dravani changed... including the formal creation of the Volkoda Team Pack, the Bagger Team Pack and The Damned Team Pack.

And yeah... the Paneer and many other things like the Vatacina Confessors are all coming... stay tuned!

A note on this, and Sherman pointed it out earlier. Despite the new releases, the website has fallen somewhat behind. The Purifier is still not displayed under either products or the store section.

Hi Pyreos,

Yep, we have had some website issues with the direct sales webstore that we are looking into. The Purifier will be updated on the store a.s.a.p. along with the Pistol Fencer and The Ronin Brawler as soon as they are available. The purifier is available through distribution and has been since it was released, stores should have no issues getting hold if it.

Cheers

Hey Tony, it's Seth. I don't know if you remember me but I used to go there with Chris Kohler before I went to Alaska and ended up here in Boise. Seriously what's happening, your release schedule used to be a little slow, but now it's like you guys aren't even in business anymore..... I am a little worried, my ronin and Dravani have been collecting dust due to the fact other games are making more of an impact and having better schedules with their releases.

Hi Seth,

Yes I remember you, how you doing?

We are definitely still in business.

In the past year we have released a new Faction, the Vatacina as well as the second book, Rezolution: Outbreak. After that the Vatacina Guard and the Guard Captain were released, these were unfortunately delayed due to production problems but were released early this year. Since then we have released the Dravani team packs, Grimalkin and Lillith, The Vatacina Purifier, and in the near future, the Ronin Brawler and Vatacina Pistol Fencer. We have also released 3 issues of Data Dump which have been on the website as well as the Tournament Packet for official play.

We have new figures in various stages of development from concept art to masters and these will be released over the coming months. We, like many games companies have been hit by the increased price of metal (a three fold increase since we started producing Rezolution figures) and rather than increase prices we have maintained a competitive price. This has had an effect of slower/smaller releases but there have been releases and there are more to come.

We have not changed our ideas for releases, we have picked the ones that we feel can be released in a timely manner without stretching yours and our budget in a time when people are struggling to have disposable income.

Rest assured, all the ideas that have been going through development in the past year will see the light of day. We are currently working on the release schedule for Rezolution and Warlands for the coming months through to the end of 2009 and beyond.

With regards to when we will release things we will announce dates as soon as we are able to meet them and they are finalized.

Cheers

Any word on the final few figs from the original book, like the Shadow Assassin? I want to give you my money!

Hi Scorpio,

The Shadow Assassin and the Penal Legion are, I believe, the last two models from the original book left to be released. I have not seen any further development of either recently so at this time I cannot give a release date. I will definitely bring them up at the next production meeting.

Cheers

Just a note on metal prices... I'm sure you've noticed that Reaper is going back to basics and making new models that are lead. The price reduction in these new releases is really very impressive. Fortunately Rez is a small scale game so you don't have to worry too much about the overall cost to play, but if it looks like this is how the industry is going to go I'd rather be at the front of it and get some free press for it rather than at the tail. I don't mind using lead and I'm sure most others don't either.

Hi Sherman,

Yes, this is an interesting development that we will be monitoring carefully to see what the reaction to this move by Reaper is.

Cheers

Nah, you're no nut. My first GW minis were a box set of plastic space marines back in the mid 80's, I loved them and the quality of the plastics is a lot better now than it was then. In my mind a good mini whther it be made of plastic, lead, metal or plastic drinking straws. OK, maybe the plastic drinking straws is one development too many. smile.gif

It is true that the quality of plasic mini has increased dramatically recently. Specially within the last year or two several high quality plasic miniature lines have been published by several different manufacturers. As long as they are not pre-painted I don't mind the rank & file minis in large units to be plastic.

For a game like Rezolution I could imagine Teams to be plasic (enforcers, CSO troopers, etc.). maybe large models (stomper-sized) could be a mix of plasic, resin and metal. I would still prefere the characters to be white metal. Maybe I'm a little "old fashioned" there.

As to lead as in real lead, I don't think that is the way to go. I'd rather pay more to get white metal or something similar that is lead free (or close to it). But thats just me and I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't have to worry about "disposable income" too much wink.gif
