Ok, on the surface PUSH is a lot like Heroes. If you like your superhumans to live in the real world with no capes, no armor, no tights, no aliases... Push delivers. It's a bit slow overall but actually has a decent story and good characters. It's set in present-day (actually two days from now) Hong Kong but while watching it I leaned over and told Billy it reminded me a lot of Rez. Espers & Arashi "using the Force", school girls with pistols and lollipops, etc. The similarities end there but overall, I think the tone just fits a nice APAC vs. Ronin scenario. And the soundtrack was great... expect it to influence the Rez soundtrack for sure!

Thanks for the heads up. I was curious what people would think of the flick, and hadn't made it out to see it yet.

Saw the comic, wasn't taken, but the movie looks cool, maybe I'll watch it and then pick up the comic in trade if I like it enough.

Likewise. I received a free copy of a promo comic for the movie plus read the first two issues of the regular run and wasn't highly impressed but the movie was fun.
